Blue River Trips in Indiana

Our most popular trip! A relaxing float with seven miles of riffles, rapids and deep pools perfect for swimming, fishing and picnicking. This trip begins with a short bus ride to our private boat launch and ends in Milltown. Paddle at your own pace. trip takes 3-5 hours

This trip offers the best scenery of Blue River and remote wild Southern Indiana. The 14 mile trip begins at our base and ends at the ruins of Rothrock’s Mill, where we will arrange a pickup time for you. Not recommended for beginners or paddlers with small children. 

A Fisherman’s favorite! Guests love to take their time on this short distance to fish every rapid and pool for bluegill and smallmouth bass. Spring water levels can make this scenic trip very exciting.

This trip extends farthest from Cave Country Canoes as Blue River winds its way through parts of the Hoosier National Forest and closer to the Ohio River. This top notch excursion requires a more experienced, self sufficient paddler in spring water levels.

All that and more. This full day trip is all the best from the blue river. It offers the moving current and rapids of the upper river with the long deep pools mid-trip.
